THURSDAY morning
9-9:30am Registration and continental breakfast.
9:30-9:45am Welcome, introductions, and announcements.
9:45-10:50am SirsiDynix – “The good, the bad, and the can we get an enhancement
for that?” – how the Consortia SIG can impact SD leadership in order to benefit both Horizon and Symphony users. We will be developing a list of compliments, concerns, and questions for SirsiDynix.
10:50-11am Break time.
11:00-Noon Resume issues review.

THURSDAY afternoon
1:00-1:45pm Web Services and BLUEcloud Products – a discussion of your experiences with how SirsiDynix’s Web Services and “Blue Cloud” products are being developed for, tested with, and implemented in consortia. Products include BookMyne, Facebook, Enterprise, eResource Central, Analytics, Mobile Circ, MarketPlace, Web based Admin and Cataloging. Moderated by Steven Bowers
1:45-2:05pm Customize ILS for Improved Staff Efficiency – Modifying Toolbars in Symphony presented by Karla Smith and; Horizon Info Portal Quick Searches and Setting up Format Icons (handouts)
2:05-2:30pm New Member/Director Orientation Manual – Share your consortium’s manuals, guides, checklists …etc for new member libraries and directors. Moderated by Richard Shurman and Karla Smith
2:30-2:45pm Break time.
2:45-3:15pm Broadband Initiatives (such as the Broadband Technology Opportunities Program) – Is your consortium benefitting or soon to benefit from any Broadband initiatives in your state or province? What contracts, MOU’s are involved? Is sustainability a concern? Does it improve the consortium’s use of advanced communications technologies? Moderated by Ken Adams.
3:15-3:45 – RDA and its Implications for Consortia – How has RDA been implemented in your consortium? What effect has it had on cataloging, end-users, authority maintenance? Moderated by TBD
3:45-4:10 Annual Consortia “Placemat” surveys. Karla reviews the results of the annual survey of SirsiDynix consortia.
4:10-4:50pm Consortia sharing – challenges, successes, and struggles.
4:50-5:00pm Closing remarks and location/scheduling of 2014 meeting.

THURSDAY evening
6:00-8:00pm FaaS: Food as a Service. SirsiDynix hosted food and beverages at the 1890 Bar in the Hyatt.

FRIDAY morning
8:30-9am Continental breakfast.
9:05-10:10am Sharing of issues and dialog with SirsiDynix staff. Bill Davison, CEO; John Perry, Director of Customer Support, and Berit Nelson, VP Library Relations. This is our opportunity to discuss our list of comments and questions for SirsiDynix that was created by the group on Thursday in the “good, bad, and can we get an enhancement?” portion of the day.
10:10-10:20am Break time.
10:20-12:15 SirsiDynix presentation. SD will be talking about the company as well as the Product Roadmap and changes since COSUGI.


FRIDAY noon
12:15-1:30pm Boxed lunches are available for attendees. Lunch is boxed “to-go” for those
who need to catch flights, or serves as another networking opportunity for those of us who stick around.
